Good Morning ALL,

I have ILR granted on March 15th from Tier 1 General visa.

My wife is currently on Tier 1 general dependent visa which expires on Nov 2013.

When I applied for ILR she hasn't qualified due to 2 yr period. She is now eligible on march 2013.

Can you please let me know whether she can directly apply for ILR from Tier 1 general dependent or does she need to convert to any other visa first and then apply for ILR.

Also, please let me know can she travel to India for 1 month on
Tier 1 general dependent visa and come back before swithing to ILR or another visa category.

Thanks in advance,

Many thanks,
Ravi

Since PBS dependants are now allowed to remain PBS dependants until they become eligible for settlement (even when the principal migrant may have acquired settled status / British citizenship), travelling abroad will not be a problem.
