PBS Calculator confusion.... need urgent help

Hi Everyone,

Immigration boards is a life saver...My story as follows.

I came to UK on HSMP on 1 Jan 2008 and got the extension on 1 Jan 2010 for 3 years. Now i due for ILR and i believe i have to go through PBS. I am not covered under judicial review policy.

On PBS Calculator, I am confused on what to choose.

Q1. Select the Tier which you are applying?

Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 (NO OPTION FOR ILR).

I have selected Tier 1. Please advice if its correct

Q2. Select the category of Tier 1 for which you are applying.

Tier 1 General

Q3. Where are you applying from?

|Inside the United Kingdom with permission to enter or stay

Q4. What type of application you are making?

Extending your stay in United kingdom

Q5. Enter the date of your first successful Tier 1 application.

First successful application started on 1st January 2008

MESSAGE "YOU MUST ENTER A DATE IN PAST ON OR AFTER 29 February 2008".
Then I entered the data of my visa extension 1 Jan 2010


Q6. Are you in the UK under the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP)? If you think you may be covered by the terms of the HSMP Forum Judicial Review

I believe answer for this question is NO. Please clarify

I am confused on Q1, Q5 and Q6, Please help.

Hi, you don't need to use the actual calculator again - use the ILR guidance to see how many points you score in each category...

If you read ILR section carefully, it clearly says, FOR ILR points calculation treat your case AS IF YOU WERE TO APPLY FOR EXTENSION of Tier 1 from within the country.
