Hello, I am due to apply for my ILR starting from 30th of October 2012. I have been self employed since day 1 in UK. Meanwhile, I would prefer to use the same day processing service but I have a few question as below which are my concerns:

(1) Do I need Application Preparation Service or I should prepare the docs myself?
(2) Meanwhile, I want to apply for myself and my wife only despite the fact that we have 2 kids born in UK which we wouldn't wanna include due to cost and other factors. Is this okay?
(3) I have travelled several times out of UK on business ground and holiday. My total days away from UK is for 357 days and I believe it shouldn't be more than 180 days or something. My absence from UK was never beyond 90 days at one time.
(4) Which PEO will be best for my case with utmost consideration?

I will really appreciate your kind response

Thanks

1. It's really not possible to comment on the status of your current preparedness (or lack of), based on what you have posted. Given the general tone of your enquiry, I would suggest that you would benefit from professional assistance.
2. wanna?
3. This is going to be a problem and particularly with a PEO application
4. Unlike the various listings in, say, The Good Pub Guide, where some locations are clearly much better than others, the standard of service you get from PEOs is intended to be uniform with regard to the UK immigration rules. Therefore, it should not matter where you apply.

Thank you so much for your honest answer. I have a solicitor who acted on my behalf when I was applying for an extenssion like 2 years ago. Spoke with him few days ago about my ILR in brief without explaining the long days away to him. To my greatest shock, he quoted outrageous bill in thousands despite the fact that my first extenssion was in few hundreds. I will seek immigration assistance. And will update my concerns for further assistance from this forum.
