Tier1 General holder ILR points based system?

Thanks to all the contributors and moderators of this forum i found it really handy for almost everything i wanted to know just one clarification required. below are some details of my situation

HSMP Visa Issue date : 24th Jan 2008
Uk entry date : 16th Feb 2008, within 28 days of visa issuance
Tier1 Extension : 24th Jan 2010

do we need to apply ILR under points based system?

If i recall correctly i remember when i got extension i had reviewed the ILR requirements at that time around 24th Jan 2010 and according to my understanding at that time i did i not required to score points but to meet the ILR requirements like i should be economically active, life in UK test etc. now i can see i will get 0 points for my age and because of which i must be earning more then what i was earning before. please confirm if i understand this correctly. or looks incorrect but i was reading somewhere that age points will be from the time you got the last extension can you please confirm

The only HSMP migrants who are not subject to points based eligibility criteria for settlement are the ones who applied for HSMP approval before 08-Nov-06.
