Hi, I have a question on behalf of a friend.

She is currently on a Work Permit which started on 14.1.09 and ends on 14.1.14. Therefore can apply for ILR in December 2013/January 2014.

But she is married to a British Citizen, marriage date 13.8.11. Can she apply for ILR two years after marriage date instead, therefore July/August 2013?

If she switches into the partner route based on her marriage, she will begin a five year journey to eventual settlement. If she thinks she can achieve ILR on her current status (income points etc) she is best to remain with that.
