10 yr long residence important question

Hello there,

i have couple of important questions which are as follows:-

i would be applying for ILR under 10 yr long residence route

1) i have always made in-time applications for various extensions to accumulate lawful 10 years. even though i have made in-time applications how can i prove that?

For example:-
i entered the country on 18/02/2003 and was given leave to remain untill 11/06/2004.

i applied for extension before 11/06/2004 but not sure when? now looking at my passport home office given me new extension visa starting from
06/07/2004 untill 30/09/2006.

As home office just didn't extended my visa from expiry of my last visa to show continuity but rather they have stamped the new visa starting from new date all together. now how can i prove i did send my documents before the expiry of my visa?

2) my second question is that i stayed out of the country for about 70 day in a row in my 10 yr period( this is was due to mum was unwell). According to rules you are not allowed to stay more than 180 days
(6 months) out of the country in a row! i am well within the required limit but still should i get the hopital document to cover those days?

Under 10 yr long residence application home office is looking for strong connection with UK and they can question this absence from uk in my case?

As i had previous rejection but won an appeal (i know that count towards lawful residence). As i had awful experience in the past i just want to cover all corners for a successful outcome.

i would be grateful if people can help me. i would appreciate if someone can post who had similar situation like me. thanks for reading.

Kind regards

One option would be to make a SAR to the UKBA, which may contain the application dates you require. A SAR should give you all the personal information that the UK Border Agency hold on you - which should technically include previous visa applications. If you have a copy of the application or proof of postage for it then you could use this, but technically you are not required to submit either of these with your application, it is merely for your peace of mind in case a caseworker raises any questions.

Regarding your question on absences, if you are within the allowed threshold for ILR under the 10 year route then you should not need to justify them. If however you have exceeded the allowed threshold, then you will need to do so.

Many thanks for taking time to write. I don't have any postage or copy of my previous applications to prove that i made in-time applications. I was thinking of requesting SAR report to get whole immigration history to make sure nothing is missed out when applying. i was also trying to book appointment to go in person but for some reason its keep showing an error! can i apply in person under 10 yr long residence route?
