HI EVERYONE.

Can someone please advice me?

Came to the UK in june 1999 on a visit visa, during my stay i applied for a student visa which was later rejected. Through a solicitor asked for recon, since then my solicitor went bust and every time i chased up the case they said it is waiting to be looked at.
In 2009 made application on grounds of article 8 HMRC.Which got rejected in 2011 feb. In the meanwhile home office had sent a letter on my previous application asking for more detials and saying the case is with asylum unit.
That letter i got hold of after 1 year which i then sent it through my solicitor back to them.

Now this case is with liverpool office waiting to be looked at. Although i had not made anasylum application its still with the asylum unit.

Can anyone advice me how i can appraoch this.I have now been in the country for nearly 14 years (in june 2013).

What hope or chance do i have?

will appreciate some sound advice.

Unfortunately, 14 years is insufficient now.
