Hi, has anyone had to appeal a 2nd time, after the initial appeal was withdrawn pending a reconsideration and then the refusal maintained. Also, can an appeal be withdrawn a second time?

@tdoubleoni14,
You appealed at FTT, and withdrawn your appeal? How can you appeal second time at the same tribunal, you only get 10 working days to lodge an appeal with first tier tribunal, for second appeal you need to get permission from first tier tribunal to lodge at upper tribunal.
If you wish you can withdraw that appeal by informing upper tribunal in writing.
Does this answer your query?

Hello Spidery,
The UKBA withdrew the appeal not me. The decision was reconsidered and refused again so given another right of appeal with the FTT. The hearing is in a few days.

Its very unlikely that UKBA withdraws for the 2nd time, you'll have better chance to explain yourself and the case in front of an Immigration Judge.
Good Luck
