Hi, I am due to apply for the ILR on10 year long residency basis in end of December. I had SP30 and £60.00 fine back in sep 2006 which now have been spent.

My question is do i have to declare this on the form as it says spent or unspent both need to mention. Also says speeding ticket or FPN do not need to mention in criminal conviction.

I am confused whether to mention on the form now or not as i have already mentioned during my previous extension as Tier4.

Kindly someone plz advise.

If there were no court proceedings/fine gone through court then you dont need to mention it.

For your piece of mind, if you want to mention that it won't have an effect on your application

You most declare it to save yourself.

Thanks for your answer. The fine of £60 GBP and 3 penalty points were given through the court as I had accepted the FPN and did not challenge it. I have never appeared in the court at any stage.

Can you please clarify whether do I still need to mention in the form.

Your help in this regard will be much appreciated.

Declare it for your piece of mind. But as mentioned earlier, this wont have any effect on your application for 2 following reasons:-

1.New rules 13th Dec 2012, only convictions that took place in last 24 months from the date of application will be refused.
2. Yours was just a speeding fine, it is not even a conviction.
