Can I apply for ILR from inside uk as I am on Dependent visa

Hi
I'll qualify for ILR in sep 2013 in 10 years Long Residence category. At the moment I'm on Tier 1 General dependent visa which will expire in 2014. But I'm planning to apply for ILR in 2013. Can I apply from inside UK or my country of origin?

You need to be in UK to apply for ILR.

Indefinite leave to remain (often known as 'ILR' and 'settlement') is permission to remain in the UK without any time restrictions on the length of stay.

You can remain in UK, ONLY if you are already present in UK.
