M back here is my story

Background
1. Lost my passport last last month moving home
2.Obtained TOC from cardiff peo luckily got appointment last month for TOC
3. HSMP + Tier 1 (In country)

Booked appointment for today 42 days prior. Applied 28 days before the 5th Anniversary

Appointment time 10:00 a.m.
Reached Lunar house at 08:25 a.m. allowed inside and after security, initial assessment and payment , called within 15 minutes of the for entering basic details & send back again and within next 15 minutes called again for Bio metric and then send back.

What I have learned that the early you are the better for you.

After 15 minutes of biometric called again at customer services desk and ask to submit documents
I have submitted the following
1. set(o) 12/12 version
2.Passport current and copy of lost passport
3.Biometric card
4. LIUK certificate
5.Payslip (52) week and bank statements
6.Police report confirming the loss of passport
7.Employer letter confirming work doesn't require travel abroad.(without any explanation about absence)
8. Detailed covering letter 4 pages long explaining everything.

Within half an hour of submitting the documents case work was allocated, I can see which case worker was allocated and I sat in front of him as in croydon you can see through the glass.

After nearly 1.5 hours case worker waived hand and called at the window.
Question 1 : Do you still work for the current employer .
Answer : Yes
Question 2: Are you on permanent or contract basis.
Answer : Permanent

That's it no further question asked about absence or loss of passport.

After this case worker went to some other case worker probably a senior one for 2 minutes and the senior guy nodded the head.

Then he came back and printed some letter and gave it to me without telling me anything, I gone through the letter and found that my application is approved. Thanks the case worker and collected all the document and was about to leave, then caseworker ask to wait a while, then he printed a paper and ask me to check whether the name and other details are correct for BRP. I had a glance through it and said everything is perfect.

Thanked once again to case worker and wish him New Year greeting and he replied the same to me.

That's it , its a new year gift for me.

Any question , feel free to ask

Congratulation.
1-You are on tier 1, why do you think the case worker asked you whether you are on permanent or contract basis?
2-why did you describe your case as complex?
3- Please let me know the expiry date of your visa and the date of 5th anniversary.
Thanks and happy new year to you.
