ILR for Wife who came to UK on Different Visa

Hi All,
I am due for my ILR application in April 2013 (Current Visa:Tier 1 Gen).
My Wife has been living in UK since 2009, but she became my dependent (Tier 1 gen dependent) in November 2012. Before that she was on Student Visa and then Tier 1-PSW. We have been married for more than 2 years now and have been living together since then.
So my question is, as my wife came to UK before 8th July 2012 (even though not as my dependent), and has been living in the UK continuously for more than 2 year, Will she be considered under the old immigration rules and hence can apply for settlement at the same time as me? OR will she fall under the new immigration rules (As she became my dependent after 8th July 2012), and will have to apply for extension using form FLR(M).

Any information or guidance will be of great Help.
Thanks in Advance.

If she got her T1G dep visa after on or after 9 jul 2012, then she would be eligible after completing 5 years on dep status and would not be considered under the 'old' rules.
