Is virgin media bill acceptable as co-habitation prrof

Hi guys,
Thanks for this forum that helped me along my Tier 1 extension approvals.
Thanks for all people who took time to read and reply. Special thanks to gurus for setting up this forum.
I will be applying for ILR 22 months from now along with my wife as dependant.
Currently I have set up the following and will be having these at the time of applying,
1) Current account statements on joint names(from month 2 to month 24 every month)
2) Council tax bills on joint names (for every quarter)
3) Savings account statement on joint names (for every quarter) [This is a different bank from 1)]
So my questions are,
1) We have virgin media bills on joint names (for month 3 to month 24 every month). Will this be acceptable as a proof?
2) My proof 1) and 3) are from different banks (first direct & halifax). So are they acceptable as two different sources?
3) A total of 3 different sources is suffient isn't it, if we have joint names on those 3 sources?
4) How frequent should be those prrofs from the 3 sources? (3 from 1st year, 3 from 2nd year OR 3 proofs every quarter?)
Any answers are much appreciated.
Cheers
Aravind.

YES
2) My proof 1) and 3) are from different banks (first direct & halifax). So are they acceptable as two different sources?
YES
3) A total of 3 different sources is sufficient isn't it, if we have joint names on those 3 sources?
READ THE GUIDANCE, SHOULD BE 6
4) How frequent should be those proofs from the 3 sources? (3 from 1st year, 3 from 2nd year OR 3 proofs every quarter?)
GUIDANCE AND APPLICATION FORM HAS MORE EXPLANATION, IT SAYS SHOULD SPREAD EVENLY ACROSS TWO YEARS.

Hi Z18runway....thanks very much for the response. Much appreciated.
The application form states the below,
6 letters and/or other documents addressed to you and your partner at the same address as evidence that you have been living together during the past 2 years (see Note 8 ).
Note 8 We need 6 letters or other documents addressed to you jointly or in both your names. If you do not have enough items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address for both of you. Examples of acceptable letters and documents are listed below. They must be originals.
The dates of the letters or documents should spread over the whole 2 years. They should be from at least 3 different sources.
Please give an explanation on a separate sheet if you cannot provide 6 items; if the documents are not addressed to both of you; or if they do not cover the 2-year period
1) My question is what is the "spread across two years" exactly mean. Say 6 letters , spread across 2 years is one letter every 4 months. Is my understanding correct?
2) So I guess my 3 sources are fine, but 6 letters from 3 sources. So,
a) One first direct account statement in joint name (1st 4 months - source 1 - letter1)
b) One council tax bill in joint name (2nd 4 months - source 2 - letter2)
c) One savings bank statement in joint name (3rd 4 months - source 3 - letter3)
d) One first direct account statement in joint name (4th 4 months - source 1 - letter4)
e) One council tax bill in joint name (5th 4 months - source 2 - letter5)
f) One savings bank statement in joint name (6th 4 months - source 3 - letter6)
In case if they need extra then I have virgin media bills on joint name.
Is my understanding correct? Thanks for any responses.
Cheers

Have you asked Virgin Media if they can send you quarterly bills for past 2 years in post?

Thanks wpilr_nov12...
its for the next 2 years...
yes i can ask them to send it...also i get occasional letters from them periodically..
1) Any correspondence should be fine isn't it? or does it have to be bills?
2) But what is the "spread across two years" exactly mean. Say 6 letters , spread across 2 years is one letter every 4 months. Is my understanding correct?
3) And is my understanding correct about my evidences (that is 6 letters from 3 sources ie 3 sources x 2 letters each). And each letter from one of the 4 month period?
For example,
a) One first direct account statement in joint name (1st 4 months - source 1 - letter1)
b) One council tax bill in joint name (2nd 4 months - source 2 - letter2)
c) One savings bank statement in joint name (3rd 4 months - source 3 - letter3)
d) One first direct account statement in joint name (4th 4 months - source 1 - letter4)
e) One council tax bill in joint name (5th 4 months - source 2 - letter5)
f) One savings bank statement in joint name (6th 4 months - source 3 - letter6)

You still have 22 months to go, so don't get tensed and nervous, be calm and prepare for the letters.
1) Any correspondence should be fine isn't it? or does it have to be bills?
Yes it is fine, even am preparing for my wife flr(m) and sending it in few days. Moreover i got informed from this forum and other forum that any letter will do as long as named and addressed to you or your wife or in joint name.
2) But what is the "spread across two years" exactly mean. Say 6 letters , spread across 2 years is one letter every 4 months. Is my understanding correct?
Absolutely yes
3) And is my understanding correct about my evidences (that is 6 letters from 3 sources ie 3 sources x 2 letters each). And each letter from one of the 4 month period?
If you can provide letters acording to your understanding please go ahead or else
Dont be more accurate, say you got
1)Virgin media letter on your name from Jan -May
2)Electricity Bill on joint name from June-August
3)Water bill on individual name from Sept-Dec
4)ABC bank plc statement on your name from Jan -march
5)ABC bank plc on your wife name from March-Sept
6)GP letter or NHS Hospital appointment letter on any month say Oct and Nov and Dec.
Any govt letters say HMRC, Council, etc.. also accepted
Council tax statement on joint name for 1 year will do for added advantage
Tenancy agreement letter for 1 year will do for added advantage

Is Note 8 valid for SET(O)?

Is Note 8 applicable to SET(O) as well? I cannot see the same rules neither in form or in guidance note. I could see on SET(M). Could someone clarify that 6 source proof is not required for ILR dependant who is applying along with main applicant.
