Sorry this question must have come up many times but could you please look into mine as well - I just want to be doubly sure before I apply.

HSMP valid from 31/01/2008
Entered UK on 08/03/2008
Tier 1 valid until 23/02/2013

I suppose I can apply for PR from 03/01/2013 (I had originally calculated the date against 23/02/2013 but I guess I should calculate against 31/01/2008).

Could you please answer this?

Yes, it has been raised many times and you would be able to determine this date by reading through Q4 & Q5 under the ILR FAQ. This should be the first post to read before posting new topics as many questions are already answered there.

In your case you are eligible to apply from upto 28 days before the 5th anniversary from your HSMP EC date.
