Dear All,

I am not sure if i can apply for ILR, here is my situation. You experts please advice.

Work permit holder.
Entry clearance issued from 18-6-2008 to 18-6-2013 (Exact 5 years)
Date i entered UK 14-7-2008.
Visa Expires as mentioned above 18-6-2013

when is my qualifying period to apply ILR? does it start from Entry clearance issued date or day i entered UK. If it runs from date i entered UK, then do i need to apply for extension before applying for ILR??

When should i book appointment?????.

Your qualifying period starts from EC date

You can apply during the last 28 days of your qualifying period

You can book PEO appointment up to 42 days before your planned application date.

As you suggested mu qualifying period start from my EC issue date (18-6-2008). I will take appointment end of may 2013. I hope to get ILR with out any further issues.
