Dear Sir / Madam,

Following is my Situation. This is from Disclousre Scotland. I pleaded guilty to all below.

Offence:
1. Possessing Insurance Document with intent to deceive:
Disposal: 40 hrs Unpaid Community Work & £70 fine.
2. Using vehicle while uninsured
Disposal: No separate penalty, driving license endorsed with 6 points
3. Driving otherwise than in accordance with a license (Note: Had NZ Full License, but not UK)
Disposal: No separate penalty, driving license endorsed
4. Use Mobile phone
Disposal: No separate penalty, driving license endorsed
Regards,
Sidd.

My feeling is that it will most probably be declined for #1. But again your choice.

Well, everything went well. Except in morning, couldn't use Credit Card as it required pin number. Then went to Bank Nearby to get Bankers Draft.
On my Work Permit Job Title Was Network Specialist, we went for Network Engineer and relevant SOC code.
This website has saved my money on Lawyers and I think it was worth to spend this money for same day appointment.
Take as much documents as possible.
Thanks Again!

Under new rules it was spent conviction. I believe you can apply after 24 months of court fines.
Btw, did they look into your criminal record section and did they ask anything about it?

Thanks All. I did attach my Scotland Yard Cert, dated 2011, with the application and supporting documents. They didn't ask anything else.
Can anyone tell me, when I apply for Citizenship after a year, will this criminal conviction be a issue?
I believe ILR and Citizenship criminality laws are same, these days.

Hi, sidd12
first congratulations on your successful ILR application.
May I ask you where you went for consulations with lawyers?
How much did you pay?
What else do I need to pay attention if I want to seek help from lawyers?
Thanks and regards
Alan

I think its 24 months for ILR and 36 months for citizenship, i believe you won't have issues with citizenship either for the reason that your three years are already spent. However wait for some expert opinion i guess!
plz help

I am eligible to apply for ILR in june 2013. I was caught driving without insurance in Feb 2007. got 6 points and 200 pounds fine. Since 5 years have been passed points have been removed. Then in feb 2011 I received a Caution from police for Texting some one i didnt know. this was based on Malicious communication Act 1988. Its a minor thing. under the new rules on criminality threshold 13 December 2012 non custodial sentence will be considered spent after 24 months. Do u think i will have any problem in my ILR application since 24 months have been passed in Feb 2012.
Do I need to declare these two offences in my application.
