visa overstay

hi,i am a mauritian,i am overstayed in the uk for 6 months after being here for 7 years as a student,does anyone know if i have right of appeal or any good legal aid solicitors thanks
Well, it's usual to appeal applications that are refused if you consider the reason for the refusal to be incorrect, and there is a right of appeal in those particular circumstances. But.................it's not clear from you post if you have made an application that has been refused. You merely mention that you overstayed a visa that had expired. You need to give more information.
