ILR Dependant - Maintanence fund

I am to apply ILR dependant visa for my wife next month.
How much maintanence fund need to show?
(At moment I have £1500 in my saving account.)
Is there any issue my current account have negative balance for past 6 months? My wife is a house wife.
I belive I need to show 3 months statement for maitanence fund.
My saving accout start from 7 Nov 2012 - present. I got appointment 9 Feb 2013. exactly 3 months to the appointment. Is there minimum cut off for statements (like 90days need to show bank balance)
