Dear Senior Members,
I am working in Uk from last around 5 years. I originally entered through WP in year 2008 latter I did visa extension through TIER2(ICT ). I Am eligible for ILR in coming month.
I have total Abscence of 20 day in last 5 years. My employer is not supportive in providing Abscence letter.
I have visited my home country to sort out my property matter.
Can I apply ILR by mentioning section 6.3 a complling reason to visit home country. compelling reason = property work. All property registration papers are with me. My name and photo is clearly mentioned on property paper.
All 20 days leave were paid leave. I made 4 visits of 5 day each in last 5 years.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Just say home visit on holiday. Ask if your employer will write a letter stating your holiday periods.

I know my Abscence period is very less. Ideally case worker should not make a fuss about it. however going by rule(introduced on 13 December 2012) case worker has power to reject application if Abscence period is not supported either by employer letter or other supporting document.
In my case since employer is not providing Abscence letter so I can provide letter which support Abscence. I am not hiding anything, property registration was genuine reason to visit my home country.
My question is:- My approach to answer correctly about Abscence is okay or not ? I will carry all flight ticket for Abscence, property paper and letter explaining purpose of the visit.
Confirmation from senior member is greatly appreciated.

case worker should not make any fuss as the total holidays are under 180 days. If your employer have issues in granting the letter about your holidays then ask them to state on the letter that you have not taken any unpaid leave. If there are no cocnern for the emplyer further ask them to state that you are entitled for annual leave.

I think it is a good suggestion.
Are you telling through your experience or someone else experience?
Why I am asking this question, because I will not able to provide direct letter from employer.
