Financial requirements Eaa4

Hi, I'm a Non-Eaa family member and I want to apply for PR, in the guidance notes of the Eaa4 form says that the EEA member need to give evidence employment during the qualifying period, does this only apply to the Eaa or to me as well? I am self-employed do I need to send my documents?
