Which date should be put on SET(O)?

Hi All,
Need some advice on which date I should choose please.
My scenario:
1st entrance clearance:
Dec 2005 got entrance clearance for studing
Dec 2007 left UK
2nd entrance clearance:
19/03/2008 entrance clearance under HSMP granted
04/05/2008 arrived in UK
March 2010 T1(G) extended until 30/03/2013
My questions:
1, SET(O) 6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? fill in Dec 2005 or 04/05/2008?
2, SET(O) 7.11 How long have you lived in the UK? 7 years 2 months or 4 years 9 months?
Any advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks.
