Hi Senior Members,

I'm planning to apply for the ILR by end of Feb and just had a question.

1. My wife and lil are in India - they both are on Tier 1 dependent visa till end of September
2. If I apply for an ILR in February and if the appl'n is succesful...

Can my wife and lil one travel back to UK and apply for ILR (my wife has completed 2 years and her first tier 1 dep visa was prior July 2012)

Just wanted to make sure that their visa doesnt go invalid because I changed my immigration status.

Any help/advice appreciated

X, D

I actually has been googling for similar question.
I just recently been granted ILR (after 8 month of waiting).
My son is my dependant (I used to be Tier-1 visa holder) - and his visa is valid until June 2013.
We are planning to apply him a british passport, but I learn that the waiting time is 6 month (if he is lucky), is there any faster way (say PEO) to apply for this?
We had to travel back home sometimes in spring for personal matters that I've postpone since I am waiting for my ILR and I am worried that my son can get out of UK but will have difficulty getting back in.
If anyone can suggest anything, it would be really helpful.

Thank you,
