Hi,
My time line is :

SET(O) acknowledgement: 14 September, 2012
Biometrics done : 12 Nov 2012
ILR approved: 28 Jan 2013
Docs arrived : 29 Jan 2013
DX delivery (BRP) : 30 Jan 2013

exactly 6 months. Made just one call to UKBA on 28th I was told my case is in its last stages. That was it. I must say this stress has taken its toll on me. And now i feel like going for holiday. Exactly same docs submitted in post as were shown to case officer when i went for my premium appointment in solihull. I wish it was done the same day, made me wait 6 months.

Many thanks for all who took out their precious time to reply to my queries. God Bless All.

As you might have observed through this forum Solihull does not have experienced case workers who can look at business accounts. Specially P&L accounts for sole traders & partnerships. If i had registered a company then the payment structure is more simple and may be it could've been approved then & there. I was told by the case worker herself that she's not trained and i've to apply by post. That's what i did.

it is generally understood that Solihull PEO doesn't accept complex applications where a Senior CW would be required to assess and make decisions. They generally recommend that you apply by post or at Croydon as there are several Senior level case workers.
Why you didn't reapply in person at Croydon?
Please advise.
