Dear all,

I have a couple of confusions, and would appreciate if someone could help me sorting them out.

Firstly, I am applying on basis of HSMP+Tier 1(General) 5 year period. I have some absences outside UK, well under the limits defined by UKBA. Do I need to submit any documentary evidence, even if the absences are below the threshold. If Yes, They were all compassionate leaves, to visit my parents back home, What sort of documentation do I need to submit as a supporting evidence? I will be submitting the copies of 'entry''exit' stamps from my passport. Is there anything else I need to submit from the employer as well? (I have been employed with a single employer throughout the 5 year period.) If yes, what should the document say? something like a summary of all my paid holidays for last 5 years, will that help? I am really confused about this so any help will be appreciated.

Secondly, this might turn out to be a totally stupid question, but thought I would ask. On tier 1 point calculator, if I wish to claim points for my age, is that my age at the time of last Tier 1 extension or the age at the time of applying for ILR? The reason I ask is, I read somewhere that this is the age at the time of last extension, and now I cannot find where I read that, sojuts want to make sure. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

If absences are within limit you do not need any letter to justify your absence. Also, visit to see your parents cannot be termed as a compassionate reason anyways!

The points awarded would be the same as what you got when you first applied for HSMP visa.

Thanks

Thanks for that. I am still confused though about the second issue. Do I enter my details (age, salary,) at the time of HSMP? Or tier 1 extension, or current? For calculation of points.
