I am applying under the 10years long residency application.
My friend and I came across the application but somehow the application does not ask for any finance support or education history. As I do not need to fill in section 9.
Am I correct. I just don't feel right. Is anyone thinking the same as me or I have missed out some part.
Many thanks in advance for your respond.

It is not necessary to have earned a penny of your own during the 10 years. Also it is not necessary to have been a student at any time during those 10 years. Only thing that matters is you entered UK legally and you have remained in UK legally during the 10 years.
Just answer what is asked in the form.

thanks for your quick respond wpilr_nov12.
In the application form section 6- immigration history, I can only provide some proof of left or return to the UK in 2001-2003. Would this be a major issue for my application?
Many thanks

1. You need to define what is 'some proof' and 'major issues' because I can already smell something difficult with your situation.
2. If the form asks for some information, then it is in your interest to provide that accurately and truthfully.

For example
in 2005, I had a immigration stamp on my passport on the 13.4.05 for returning to the UK but I didn't have any proof such as air ticket or immigration stamp to show the date of left the country. I can roughly remember I had been out the country for 7 days.

as long as you have the entry stamp on your passport that would be fine, you dont need to provide any tickets or anything, there is no stamp on exit from the UK but UKBA may have records of your exit & entry so you can just give them genuine information as far as you can remember or recall.

Thank You wpilr_nov12 for your response.
I do not know why people want to complicate matters by either write some irrelevant information on the Form or give Documents not asked for.
