Hi All:

I am applying for ILR after 5 years on WP/Tier 1. I have a question regarding my salary calculation.

My monthly salary slips has earnings like this

Basic Pay 2500
Child Voucher -243 (I get it as vouchers and is tax exempted)

Taxable Pay 2257

I am confused as to whether I should use 2500 or 2257 for my income calculation.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

I believe the guidance says you can use gross.
In your case that should be the basic (2500), before any deduction is taking into account.
