Hi,

I have entered UK in Nov 2008 on Tier 2. The visa says (Number of entries: MULT and Type: VISA WORK PERMIT). Then I switched to Tier 1 (General) in Mar 2010. I have peo appointment for my extension this week (still 2 months validity left in my visa).

Here my question is, Will I be eligible for ILR this November?

I think I will be, but not very sure. Please help...

Note: I was in the Uk for all these years without breaking no of days away from country rules and I applied my Tier 1 extn form with in UK.

Thanks,
Suresh

Giving exact dates would be helpful.

Because the gap in your EC issue date and your initial UK entry date exceeds 90 days, your 5 year count begins from entry date of 22Nov08. You will have completed 5 years in 22Nov13. You become eligible to apply from 28 days before 22Nov13, and until your current/extended visa runs out.
