ILR - Self employed - Earnings question

Hi, does anyone have experience of receiving ILR after 5 years of Tier 1 (or similar) having applied as self-employed?

If so, did you have to claim earnings as net profit or were you able to find a way to claim earnings as gross profit?

Can anyone advise on how it's possible to claim earnings as gross rather than net, for self-employed applications for ILR?

Or alternatively, is it possible to claim gross for Tier 1 extensions?

Thanks for your time.

Your business net profit is your gross earning on which you pay tax.

Thanks Msvayani.

The guidance stated that UKBA doesn't accept Self Assessment tax payments as a form of evidence - so does this mean self employed applicants can't use taxes as one of the forms of evidence of earnings?

Does it then basically come down to letter from accountant and bank statements?
