Hi,

I am having more than 180 days in 5 consecutive years please see the bellow table and let me know if I can be eligible. First date of entry is 25/03/2008

Date Left UK Date returned to UK Number of Days Absence

07/11/2008 30/11/2008 22
30/11/2009 06/11/2010 340
06/04/2011 08/05/2011 30
-----------------------
Total 392
-----------------------
Visa Type
--------------
Tier 2 General(Mar 2008) / Tier 1 (June 2008)
Tier 1 (June 2008 - June 2011)
Tier 2 General (Jul 2011 - Till Date)

I have a point to mention which i am thinking as valid reason for more than 180 days in that year(06/04/2011- 08/05/2011 30 days was for my daughter's birth born on 18th April 2011)

I would need help in breaking up my absences in such ways that it does not break the continues stay rule as per the new rules.

You will need to follow the guidance on page 9 to understand how to calculate your annual absences according to the new rules.
