Hi all, I will be applying for my indefinite leave to remain in September 2013,
However I want to sit for the life uk test before march 25.

Please can anyone let me know if It is too early to take it now and if I can use it by September.

You can sit for the Test before 25th March and the Pass Certificate is valid in Sept.'13. Please also read the other threads under the same subject.

its better to pass the test now, i mean before 25 March and your test will be valid for unlimited time provided you keep your pass test certificate safe with you.

I passed my test one month ago.I've had a look at the new hand book and found it very interesting and print quality is much better.
I strongly encourge you to sit the new test after 25 March 13.

YES I FAILED MY TEST BEFORE I THINK THE NEW BOOK IS INTERSTING AN CAN UNDERSTAND EASY.

IF I HAVE MY TEST ON THE NEW BOOK.. IS THAT VALID FOREVER?

yes both old and new tests have life time validity. the only thing to note it currently both tests are available to book. However, after 25th you wont be able to book the old test but the pass certificate for both will be treated in the same way.

Your Life in the UK test certificate is valid for indefinite.
So you could take test any time.

its no expiry date for life in UK test certificate if you apply 4 year ago its still valid in September 2013.
