Hi experts!

Please help me in calculating the earliest date I can apply for my ILR using 28 days rule. Following are Tier 1 visa dates:

28 May 2008 - 24 May 2011
30 June 2011 - 30 June 2013

My confusion is about the gap between the end date of 1st stay and the start of 2nd stay. It was period when my postal application was being processed.

The gap due to UKBA postal application processing delays is not an issue, so long as your application was made in-time. Your leave would have been extended by virtue of S3C during that period.

You will be eligible to apply for ILR from upto 28 days before the 5th anniversary from EC, so long as you first entered the UK within 3 months of EC.

I was in the UK (on Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme) when I applied for Tier 1. So I was present from day one.

Does this mean I can apply from 30th April?

If April 30th = 28 days before 28 May 2013, then yes.
