Applying for Extension

Post by Sahib » Wed Feb 27, 2013 11:58 pm

Dear All,

Question on behalf of a friend, can someone please help?

I sent my HSMP Visa application from Pakistan to UKBA on 07/04/2008 and was granted 'entry clearance' Tier-1 general on 23/08/2010 for 3 years and arrived on 10/10/2010 in UK. Now I am going for my extension in August, which rules I will have to follow? When I applied or when I was granted for 'entry clearance' and secondly I came in UK after 45 days of my visa, will I have to go for another extension for indefinite or is there any other way to sort it out to complete my 5 years stay in UK?

Regards,

How did it take 2years and 4 months to get your tier 1 application approved?

If your tier 1 start date was 23/08/2010 that's when the clock towards your ILR will start. You will have to apply for extension first and then will be eligible to apply for ILR in Aug 2015
