Hi,

Currently i am on Tier-1 Visa and when I was on work permit ( 2009) i was out of UK for 18 Days ( Paid leave - Went to visit my family ) and working with same employer. Now i am planning to process the ILR Visa.

Based on current immigration rule :-

1. Do i need to submit employer letter for my absence ( 18 days- paid leave - Went to visit my family ) when i was on work permit.

2. If yes, then It would be really great favor if provide me the template/content of absence letter, so i will send to the employer for signature ( not sure they will do it or not as they are not having any old leave records ).

Thanks in advance

In ideal situation to play safe, if you can get a letter it would be great. Normally if you have been on Wp/tier 2 during the early part of your 5 year tenure, most CW's don't ask for one. But as per the rules if you have spent any time on WP/tier 2 you need letter of absences from employer. Template on the sticky note on the main page
