Hi everyone,

I am applying ILR under 10 years rule next week although my Tier 1 (General) visa is vaild until February 2014.

1). Do I require to provide the evidence to support the reasons for all absences from UK when I am applying under the category - 10 years long resience?(Q. 6.3) The longest period I was away from UK was for about 30 days and all absences were for visiting to my family and relatives in back home. If that so, what type of evidence would suffice?

2). What information should I provide for Q. 7.12? Only my little brother and myself are in UK. Mom and most of my relatives are still in the country where I was born but my other siblings are in different countries.

Thank you so much in advance.

Rules for absences for long residency

1. The applicant must not have spent more than 180 days (6 months)
outside the UK at any given time at once; and
2. The applicant must not have spent more than 540 days (18 months) in total during 10 year period.

So you should be fine

Q2. You can write your mum and relatives lives in the home country and you visit her etc.

Hi
Rules for absences for long residency

1. The applicant must not have spent more than 180 days (6 months)

2. The applicant must not have spent more than 540 days (18 months) in total during 10 year period.
What type of information should I provide as an evidence to support the reason for all absences (Q. 6.3) for application under 10 yrs long residency?

Thank you so much again.
