Hello Guys,

I think I can apply for ILR SET(O) under these circumstances:

Enter UK: 15 June 2003 as a visitor visa until 15 December 2003
Then switch to student visa in Dec 2003 for one year.
Got my student visa extended every 1 and 2 years without a problem.
Currently have student visa until May 2015.

I would appreciate if someone can help with my quest?
I understand that visitors visa count towards long residence. And while taking consideration to apply within 28 days, I can make the application on 16/05/2013...

But my issue is currently my visa expire 2015....Is a problem to apply ILR..
Thanks a lot guyssss. :?

I'm curious as to why do you see your 2015 visa expiry date as a problem?

If you have spent 10 years lawfully in the UK, then 'Yes' you may apply for ILR under the long residence route from upto 28 days before your 10th anniversary from 15 June 2003.
