My Tier1 General Visa is expiring on 20/06/13. My initial HSMP Tier1 Visa was stamped on 26/05/08. I entered the UK on 13/07/08.

As per my understanding so far, I would need appointment for 28th April 2013 i.e., 29th April 2013 as 28th is Sunday.

Is there a 42 days rule for booking the appointment. If yes, would it be 16th March night or 17th March night when I should try to book an appointment for 29th April?

Appreciate your quick responses in advance.

Sorry, I am not aware of 42 days rule. As per guidance notes, it's 28 days before the date of visa expiry.

Hi,

I understand the rule for application date, that is, 28 days before the qualifying 5 yrs for HSMP Tier 1 (General) in my case. What I would like to do is to book an appointment for application date and trying to figure out when can I book this appointment.

Hope my query is bit more clear now.

If you are looking for appointment for 29th april, this will be available on /after 18 march 2013 00:00... hope this help

More like 19th of March at 00:00 (early monday morning that is)
