Police Registration after ILR

Hello everyone:
Just to ask whether people who have got ILR need to report to police? The letter I have got with my ILR said I do not need to report to police any more.
However, the letter said they have stamped my registration certificate but mine hasn't got any stamp on it.
Have any people here who got your ILR reported to police about this?
