Hey guys,

I am applying for an ILR based on WP + Tier 2 and Tier 1.
I was employed and then self employed as a ltd company director.

Do I still need to provide an employment letter ? If yes, what should be in the letter,

Should I provide the details of the SOC codes and salary etc ?

i had requested my company and they have provided me with a letter stating I was employed with them in the UK for 4 year period but there is no SOC Code and salary details.

I am on tier 1 and when I went through the SET O form , I realised I dont have to provide any emmployment letter.

Or am I wrong ?

If you are applying for ILR as a Tier 1 General Migrant, then no employer letter is required to confirm your Job title, SOC code or rate of pay.

You will however need to provide evidence to confirm that you met the terms of your WP, i.e. as part of 11L in the SET(O) form. This can be done by providing your WP/T2's & P60's to cover that time period of your 5 year ILR residence.

Thanks, I dont have all of my P60s but have the employment history for the missing ones.

So that is good news!
