Hi All,

Any help is highly appreciated on my two questions I have.

Work permit approval date : 28/04/2008
First entry date to UK : 25/05/2008


1)I have booked an appointment for premium service through UKBA portal. when searching with Dependant as 1, I never found any appointments. Basically I am the main applicant and my wife is dependant. So I have searched for appointments with dependant as 0 and found appiontments so I have booked one appointment for me at 11:30 in next week and another appointment at 12:30 for my wife with a different login ID on the same day as me. My plan according to my friends who have visited earlier is, it seems we can go couple of hours early to go in. I heard once we are in, there is no proof of letter that says I came with one dependant or none. Can anyone please let me know if this is practically possible at Cardiff.

2)My second question is, I will be completing 5 years on 25/05/2013 so I am actually eligible to apply 28 days prior to this, so the date I am eligible is 27/04/2008. But as I have travelled with in 90 days from the time my WP is issued for first, the document of UKBA says I can consider the date 28/04/2008 as my first clearance date. So now please confirm me if I am eligible to Apply from Apr 1st 2013. The reason I am applying quick is to escape from new fee starting from 6th of Apr 2013.

From my personal experience at Cardiff (End of Jan) they did check my appointment letter and didn’t let us in 30 minutes before the appointment time. My appointment was at 10am and I got there 9.15am with my wife and 1 year old son but still only allowed in the 30 minute window. Cardiff office is fairly small so I believe they only take people inside when they are closer to their appointment slot as it can get cramped up inside,

Can anyone share your recent experiences at cardiff or at any centre how to tackle this situation.
