Hi,

I am a Tier 1 (G) and looking for ILR for June 2013,
EC 01/07/2008 Out of country work permit
Entered 08/08/2008 (AROUND 1.5 months)
Tier 1 G 07/2009
Extended 1/2012 (expiry 01/2014)

Just wondering if I can do PEO application for myself while afterwards send ILR application for wife (dependant), have a couple of questions:

1. Once my ILR received and BRP received can I apply for my UK born child nationality straight and at the same time send postal application for my wife for ILR?

2. Once my ILR approved then on postal application for my wife what date would they put for approval. Would she have to spend additional time before naturalisation due to ILR approval dealy?

Thanks.

Date of approval of the application

She needs to spend 12 months after ILR. So if you want to submit a joint naturalisation application, then you need to wait until she completes 12 month.

Alternately, you can become BC once you qualify and then she can submit a separate application as spouse of a BC. This won't require her to wait for 12 month.

However as per proposed fees, the joint application will cost 25% less than two separate adult applications.
