ILR dependant application needed.Is my dependant eligible

Hi ,
I am applying for ILR tomorrow i.e on 03/04/2013 at Cardiff. If my application is successful can my wife use the Approval letter and go for Premium appointment on say 05/04/2013? Is my wife eligible to apply only with my approval letter given to me on 03/04/2013 or should we wait for plastic card to arrive?
I couldnt find any appointments with depandants.Also we would like to apply before 6th April
Please let me know what application will suit for dependant who are applying ILR?
