Hi
I have applied for my ILR through postal application last week. I am looking at the various people in the forum who are getting the approval after 2 or 3 months. Is there any way we can speed up the process for my ILR application by recommendation from MP or a solicitor. please suggest.
Thanks
Chandu

Please don't take this the wrong way but was there a particular reason for going postal rather than PEO if a rush decision was needed? I believe the common reasons are the difference in cost, complexity of the application and work/family commitments.
I doubt your MP would want to get involved at this stage unless there are mitigating circumstances and all a solicitor will do is send you hefty invoices for phone calls his clerical staff make to listen to automated messages and standard responses about processing times.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression will get the postal approval of ILR in couple of months and I thought the date of issue for ILR would be from when my visa expires but thats not the case and ILR issue date would be the day they make the decision and I have to wait for Naturalisation from the date of issue of ILR. So I am wasting all the months which UKBA takes for processing my ILR application
Reabs, can you please suggest, what is the genuine way to speed up processing my ILR application please.
