Hello, I am going to apply ILR in few weeks time. I applied tier 1 extension in 2011. My original tier 1 was expired in May 2011 and I applied for the extension in April 2011 3-4 weeks before expiry. But visa has been issue from June 2011. They should have been issued from the expiry date of my pervious visa But my application was in home office for extended pending decision.

Please advise Did I qualifies stay as continuous or is showing any gap.

Did I need to explain in application. Thanks,

Valeed.

In simple English, you are safe. UKBA can't give backdated "visa".

Your stay is continuous. Last visa starts from the day it was approved.
You're safe.
