I submitted a list of my absences.

I had got my current employers letter conforming my absence but did not submit it. Although could not get one from my previous employer as they cannot reference that data.

Were council tax bills sufficient to prove cohabitation?

Refer to FLR(M) form or SET(M) form to understand what documentary evidences are accepted by UKBA to prove cohabitation

congratulations on your successful application.

Can you let me know whether the absences can be for short trips (nothing to do with business trips or serious compelling reasons). I have made brief trips to India 7-20 days, total 101 so far and concerned whether all will be OK.
Thanks

@ varun - WHICH OPTION HAVE YOU SELECTED

Section 6.3 of Set (O) gives you the option to do this:

Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including
periods of paid annual leave from the UK?
Letter from applicant detailing reasons for absence due to compelling or compassionate reasons
