ILR approved

Hi all,

Keeping in line with the tradition, here is my story (If it helps anyone).

Case details:
Tier 1 (G)
IT contractor (First 1.5 years worked as a permie)
Total 190 days absence out of country. Out of which:
100 were in a single trip. Reason being bereavement and me falling sick
There were 2 instances where I was out of country for 16 and 31 days between my job changes. So unpaid leaves.

Appointmet at Croydon. After usual checks/payments, went to the case worker. Very polite lady. She asked me following docs:

1. My app form
2. Salary slips and div vouchers
3. Personal and business bank statement
4. Company incorporation cert
5. Corp tax letters

She had a look at the docs and said all looks good. After sometime got my letter saying that it has been approved. No questions asked on absences etc.

Was smooth enough.

Which PEO you submitted your application. Did you have interaction with caseworker. I found out from this form there is no interaction with caseworker at all in All PEO spcially guys who submitted in croydon. please mention. THANKS

Valeed - I did have interaction with the caseworker. She asked me for docs before hand and I just handed over to her.

Congratulations and do enjoy your new found freedom :D

Are you sure it wasnt the person who did your biometrics that you're refering to as case worker? I had mine in Croydon and didnt interact with case worker at all.

Aah, my bad guys. It was Solihull and NOT Croydon (I had appointment in Croydon but cancelled it and changed to Solihull as I wasnt ok with the dates).

It was definitely the caseworker who asked for the docs and I handed over to her.

Biometrics were just fingerprints and thats it..

PEO doesn't matter. I believe all PEOs providing good level of service as long their IT system works properly. I went to Sheffield last week they are good.

Chose one what is convenient for you.

valeed.naim2 - It was Solihull I had gone to. Very nice and friendly staff.

purlain - For my absences I was carrying following docs:
- A coverletter explaining all the absences and reasons.
- Doctor's certificate for my long illness while I was away.
- Interview call emails/Job offers from various places while I was taking a break outside the UK

I wasnt asked any of the docs above. Caseworker just selectively asked for the docs in my original email. I missed LIUK test cert in my original email.

Congratulations on your success...if you didn't submit the absence letter then what did you fill in this section


6 . 3 What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK?
A) Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK?
B) Letter from applicant detailing reasons for absence due to compelling or compassionate reasons
C) Original official documents: (medical/birth/death certificate(s)) Letter from travel companies to evidence disruption to travel
D) Other

Thanks man.

I was carrying medical certs/letter from employer and a personal statement. So I had ticked the relevant check boxes in the form. But I wasnt asked for them. Checked - A, B, D.
