Hi,

I have an appointment at PEO Croydon for ILR based on Work Permit and Tier 1 G stay. I have just noticed that in PEO Croydon you don’t get to meet caseworker from now on!!!

I have had child benefit issue which has been resolved on my side (I mistakenly claimed child benefits for few months (September 2012 to January 2013 -5 months old story) and now have returned them back with proof available from HMRC). Just wondering if it will be better to visit Solihull instead where I will be able to see caseworker and will be able to explain if questions are asked about it!!!

What I am planning is that on SET O form, where it asks if I would like to provide more info on my application, I should direct towards my separate covering letter where I will be including all additional info including this child benefit issue. Also I will keep the proof handy but will not submit as part of package handed to caseworker in the first place!!!

Please advise…

Thanks.

Whether it's Solihull or Croydon CWs follow the same guidance. Good you are going to write a covering letter regarding the Child Benefit issue. Also attach any HMRC correspondence regarding same. All depends on CW's discretion. Good Luck.

I trust your application will sail through without problem, if you have paid back the money and present your proof of doing that. You are not alone, there are some people who were in the same boat and got their ILR.
