Hi,
I would be applying for my ILR next week, have gone through this forum but can't find the covering letter it would be so helpful if somebody can post any covering letter as in my extension i did all my points calculation in covering letter not sure whether i can do the same as there is no maintenance funds requirement.
An absence letter would also be required if someone can post it please.

i never provided any cover letter, its not a good start for ILR , application form is enough and the case workers are trained to work with application form.

cover letter sometimes also create confusions in case worker mind, only do it if your case is not straight forward and you want to explain something which is not covered by application form.

Don't complicate matters by writing covering letters? By giving additional documents ,your case will not get stright forward or stronger.If you have the specific documents,what are required by the SET O form and additional documents to back them up you will be fine. Which PEO are you going to? C.W are well trained to ask for the correct documents? That's what the CW did when I went for My ILR appointment.

am employed and self-employed too have all the documents and hope case would be straight forward.
I have one query if someone can help.
I am also employed through limited company which isn't my limited company . When i started working for them, i gave them my sole-trader bank account details and my salary is coming into my business account.
Do you think it can create any confusion as i wanted the salary into my business account for reinvesting this money.
Please senior comments

I did not provide any cover letter with application form, received ILR, but if u hav lots of supporting documents outside minimum document requirements then just attach letter with the folder u hav documents and explain what they are and why u have attached.

they don't care to look your cover letter for PEO application even if they hold your case they don't read.
so don;t spend time in making cover letter.
