T1 (G)_bank employee

Hi,
According to UKBA guidance, an applicant for T1(G) extension or T1(G) ILR needs to show income proof from two different sources, i.e. "each
piece of supporting evidence must be from a separate source and support all the other evidence so that together they clearly prove the earnings claimed".
QUESTION: If the applicant is employed by a bank, e.g. Barclays, and his salary is paid into Barclays account, will UKBA treat bank statement and employer's letter as if they are from different sources?
Thanks
