Hi,

My wife completed her 10years long residency period in June 2011 but she did not apply for ILR at that time. She had to leave UK in June 2012 and she returned in June 2013, just short of two weeks from full 1 year. She left UK on valid visa and returned on valid visa.

I want to ask that when she apply for ILR then does she need to be in UK exactly 1 year before on the same date as this is requirement for some of immigration categories.

once you complete the 10 year period in UK then you can return anytime to apply for SET(LR)
