Hi Need some clarification. I received HSMP approval letter june 2008, then applied for visa stamping.
-Got my passport which was stamped on 13 sep 2008 and visa was valid until 20 August 2011 but the visa approval letter which i received with my passport was dated 20 August 2008.
- got my extention in july 2011 and got visa till 20 aug 2013.
My question is will i complete my 5 years on 20Aug 2013. or it will be 13 sep2013 from date of stamping.[/b]

The correct place to look for this date is on the first hsmp visa sticker itself inside your passport. It must have a "valid from" date on it. Any other dates on any letters etc are irrelevant.
